Concept

DEVA YAJANI is the proposed Retreat Centre for Dharmikas. 

Idea is to provide

  • A short-term experience of our Vedic Tradition on the banks of River Kaveri.

  • Possible facilities for Yajnikas, Practitioners, Organisers a facility to conduct Shrouta and Smaarta Rituals. Arrangements shall be in place, to conduct at least 2 rituals on parallel.

  • Location is advantageous, as the site has Akhanda Kaveri River Flowing in the East. 

  • Spending few Quiet Moments in the morning or evening would easily rejuvenate Work-holics deprived of salubrious and healthy life style.

  • Bird Sanctuary Area, visited by thousands of feathered tourists from Northern hemi-sphere.

  • Yajniya Vruksha Park: The area will be dotted by the trees used for Vedic Rituals along with greenery abutting the River Bank and structures.

  • Goshaala will be maintained.

Who will manage?

Mysore based Professional Group of Technocrats and Veda Scholars will manage the facility with the active support of Patrons who are Experts in their respective fields.

Whereas, the site is connected by Canal Road. Airport, Railroad and National Highway 150A. With large customers in the vicinity, Good Roads, Stable Electricity and High speed internet connection facilities are assured for the area along with many modern amenities.

 Management Structure

  • To avoid future disturbances, it is envisaged to provide the space to like-minded organisations/ inviduals to create and run facilities on Build- Own - Operate - Transfer format.

  • Basic Infrastructure will be maintained by a professional group for all the facilities of Deva Yajani.

  • Shrouta Rituals will be managed by a group of dedicated Shouta Scholars.
